What did you do to your GE fit today?
took some photos of the progress
wet sanding/buff/polish in progress.... he polished a small area when i was there just to snag shots.... it's so hard to get pictures of a tiny area - the pictures don't do it justice.
check the hood in the pic (pre wetsand)

wet sanding:

looks so dull wet sanded...can't wait to see it buffed and polished.

not even buffed/polished, yet the blue pearl pops...

That color makes me angry...in the best way! Nice work.
On a side note, I pushed my speed on a curved on-ramp w/ my Tein coils for the first time...I try to not abuse them.
Goddamn, it was beautiful to feel my own body slammed against the driver's side door with the car holding steady w/ the tires + suspension. I should do this more/less often.

esp as the concrete gets cooler later in the year - tires wont stick as well as they do in the summer

next up for the fit is coils and a rear sway bar. not for crazy low, but to make it handle better.
i had it lowered on tein springs, but didn't like it. what tein coils are you running?
dont go balls to the wall - learn the car and push it slowly.

I'm changing my tires/wheels in late November...can't ruin my SBC RPF-1's or waste summer tires on the snow.
I have coils and the sport has a rear sway bar installed as OEM.
Street Basis, nothing fancy, but gets the job done in the looks/street handling dept.
I've had the car for 3.5 years, but rarely push it...hence my ecstasy.

next year, HFP rims will be going on, will sell the enkeis.
any complaints about those coils? tein has always had a good rep...thinking about those or ksport.
Street Basis is really for comfort, looks, and quality,
Sure, it can do a lil' bit more, but that's a bonus. I love them, but I don't track my car except once every 3.5 years
The only downside I can see is a lack of damper adjustment if you're going for a tight fitment or a track-able car.

Posted in pimped 09 thread on accident but might as well post here too.
Washed, clay bar'd, polished, waxed the Fit. First time doing this or having to have done this whole process but the fine scratches in the black paint were driving me nuts and I thought i'd give it a shot and hope the process removed them.
Indeed it did, but I only got the front of the car done since I was doing everything by hand. Looking forward to finishing it tomorrow. Took away the nasty looking spiderwebs the paint showed in the sun too.
Also threw some touch up paint on some knicks I found on the body panels to help avoid rust. The front bumper has about a million knicks on it, looks like someone took a sand blaster to it from 10 paces. No buffing that out I suppose. The car is pretty well highway traveled so I guess I shouldn't expect any less.
