Today on my Honda Jazz 1.4 EX I removed the rear bumper and installed a 'magnetic' parking sensor. The only hole drilled was through a rubber washer to connect the strip to its control box. I left the buzzer and display in the rear and can be seen in mirror or when I turn my head back. I tested and practiced reversing to standing spare wheel to get a feel and sense of it's display with respect to the display and the sounder. I am very pleased. I took pictures too. The only visible item is the LED display stuck on boot (truck) pillar about trim and above parcel shelf when fitted. It was easier putting bumper on than taking it off. I soldered power from the right reverse light power.
Also last week fitted 15" wheels with winter tyres on (Hancock).

Preparing it for winter now. Did the oil last week, need to do a "B" service code inspection (does the dealer always charge $200 for these?), order new windshield wipers, snow tires so I don't die on the highway to Edmonton at the end of the month, then everything else I do is prepping it for sale. Hoping I can trade it in come spring time for a FR-S. and have some decent equity in the car.

For routine maintenance, this car is such a joy to to work on . Every time I do this stuff I appreciate how well the maintenance items are laid out for ease of accessibility. In between rain showers today, I managed to perform my scheduled maintenance, (MM was showing 15%, but I have a long drive coming up this weekend, so I wanted to get this done), Mobil 1 5W-20 oil & Honda oil filter, replaced engine air & cabin air filters & replaced 3.2 quarts transmission fluid with fresh Honda ATF fluid. Skipped the tire rotation since the snow tires will be going on soon. All done in just about one hour.

^^That's pretty cool, how's the shifting feel? Pretty accurate or does it have some play on it?

That shifter extension is crazy, review?

@Nicotine, the Impala is really cool, I'd make its own thread, its a bit off-topic in this one, but warrants its own bit of the site.

The shifter extension is great. Very well built and feels very solid. It comes with a locking nut for the bottom so it's fully adjustable, 360°. You can also adjust the height of the rod with the two hex screws. Paired with my Moddiction mini weighted knob it feels great. I like being able to have the knob a couple inches closer to me, especially for going into 5th. Was using the Circuit Hero straight extender before, which was nice to bring the height up, but still felt like I was reaching a bit. Very cool toy. If you even think you'd like it, I recommend picking one up. Not cheap, but not insane either.
