^^ Fawk the Z too! I (and a few friends) broke a bunch of stuff on my Z lol! Spent more time at the dealer getting it "fixed" under warranty then anything. Good times, met lots of fellow Z owners in the waiting room.

Both cars have alot of plastic, stupid crap is easy to break

Luckily parts are cheap anyway so I can't really complain

so after the debacle the first time trying to install the progress springs (nut seized on driver side shock)... I decided to give it a shot yesterday.

Let's start with the passenger side. Take it out, no problem. Grab the impact gun to remove the nut and... it gets half way off and the shaft starts spinning. hmm. ok, compress the spring, use vise grips at the very top of the shaft where the bumpstop should be and... nut is seized to the threads. look closer and it turns out that it heated up enough as we were taking it off that it welded itself to the shock. just like the driver's side two weeks ago.

what.the.everloving.fuck is up with this car. so, can't get the nut either fully seated or off. car is uselessly sitting in my friend's cul-de-sac. Fuck it, my friend works for a shop that gets a discount at tire rack. Ordering the bilstein PSS coilovers and some RPF1s for the car. Might as well go broke on this damn thing.

Anyone want some new in box progress springs for a ge8?

I will. I've done a few sets of coilovers and lowering springs on cars in my life, just never had the issues that I've had with the fit.

Wow man can't win lately eh? Sorry to hear about the troubles, it happens. I spent 5 hours trying to get a frozen top nut off a strut case once and ended up destroying the nut SO FRUSTRATING haha. Wasn't an easy to find part either.

I thought the JDM illuminated cup holders looked like this. Maybe the below picture is just for the hybrid.

I actually think you painting them silver was smart, less noticing then if they were black

Amazing what $10 of Auto Zone pinstriping can accomplish!

Also note black edging on hood, doors (and hatchback as well)

You did that with vinyl pinstripes? That's pretty impressive.
