sun was already setting. the car is hard to get good photos of, esp when it's overcast...... i find it hard to get photos that show what my eyes see. such a tricky colour/paint job.

in the hood picture in doors versus the one i posted yesterday, the difference is huge. still has to be polished then waxed too....

tomorrow the door handles go in, then we can finish off the sound deadning on the doors. it's only partially done, as we need to get in the door to put the handles in.

then the interior comes out, and we deaden that too.

Turned over 40,000 miles. Haven't done anything but oil changes. I love Honda quality.

You ignored the B2 on the MM maybe. Should at least change air filter and cabin one.

How old. At three years needs brake fluid flush.

Filled up at $3.73/gallon in SoCal, pretty damn cheap!

Took the opportunity to check my tire pressures and all were 31psi so increased them all to 35psi

still a little dubious on how its installed. just 3m tape around a license plate frame. and it's elevated above the trunk lid still. i'm afraid wind can get under it and pull it right off.

CR-Z owners are installing the aftermarket OEM replica rear spoiler on the CR-Z's with just 3M tape, and I'd bet there's more wind/turbulence on that part, than on our license plate.

To be on the safe side I'd probably attach some more 3M strips in key locations.

changed my tire pressure from 34 to 37psi...wondering if I should hit that 45psi or not. Oh well I'll see how this affects mileage and handling.

today we took out all the interior (rear hatch pieces, back seats, front seat, all side panels, center console, pulled the carpet forward). we were able to get under there and get the sound proofing pretty high up the firewall. not bad!

very little sun out today. rained a few times. still got these so so shots.

interior out, carpet pulled partially forward (we got right under there, pulled to the side well enuff to get under it)

more to do tomorrow. fill in a few spots, finish the doors, and put it allllllllllllllllllllll back together.

i think all this soundproofing is great, but how much weight are you adding by doing this?
