Thanks, I ended up mounting the camera inside

I appreciate your mentioning the price, too! I've certainly thought about paint, but I've never gone as far as getting a quote
Glad to be of help.

Trunk cover and organizer

Got the trunk cover from Amazon. The specific one I got is out of stock, but pretty sure this is the same one.

The organizer was some cheap thing I saw at Five Below. Not the best quality, but it is going to serve its purpose.

I installed my EcoHitch from e-trailer.com so I can mount my bike rack to it. Just in time for good bike riding weather!

More little things

The rabbithole of adding mods, after switching to the JDM tails, I figured I would switch to LED bulbs as well. Had some hyper flashing, so instead of putting resistors on all signals I picked up this plug and play harness from a fellow Fit Freak member Jephu ( IG @diycarmodz)

Also added an armrest from Amazon. Not oem quality, but it does the job.

Removed Koni/Swift (if you're in WI/IL and would like to buy them send me a PM, I won't ship these), installed HKS Hipermax S-Style X coilovers. They could still go another 1.5" or so lower. For now, this will do.

I took off the car cover. Started it. tried to drive it but the rear drums were sized. Hit the drums with a big hammer. then drove it around the block and parked it again.

51R battery upgrade?

I just bought this car 6 months ago and the battery that came with it was starting to crap out this last week. I wanted to replace it with a 51R and I purchased the cheapest new one I could find. ($98) It fit perfect I had no issues. Picture shows size difference.

I'm torn now. I know I hit you up asking about your experience with the Koni / Swift combo... but now after thinking about it more and seeing your car it would be nice to have the option of adjusting if I just get coilovers.

My wife wasn't a fan of how bright the LEDs were on the interior. Had some vinyl tint from when I wrapped my oem taillights to see if this works.

The Koni/Swift are definitely more comfortable. It’s fine for me bc we have a comfy car, but I wouldn’t want this as a main car based on comfort.

Had insurance come out to appraise the damage. Last week we got hit by someone pulling out of a driveway and claim they did not see us. Then they drove off...

The little Fit barely registered the hit and no one was hurt, thankfully, since my son was in the passenger seat.

Insurance estimated $2,900 to repair the door and paint, so dropping it off at the shop on Monday. Fortunately this weekend's race was cancelled due to rain, hopefully the repair will be done in time for the next one!

New cross bars and load assist

I replaced the crossbars with SportRack brand.Love the new bars, fit really solid.
I found a Malone Telos Kayak load assist and a set of Malone Downloaders for $175 and jumped on the deal. 😎 When I met up with the seller he said I could have the one set of Downloaders or 2 sets of Autoloaders all for $150. Took the two Autoloaders.😉😁

Nice! Which bulbs for interior did you go with? My wife hates how bright the LASFIT ones are. I like em, so I just used a tint wrap to mellow it out a bit. Still bright, but not as blinding.
