Of course. I misread your original post, i thought you indicated the plugs were replaced at 62K, not 62K miles ago.

Smile What I did ?

I swept the breadcrumbs off my seat... Oh yes, checked the tire pressures last week. I scratch my head when my pressures come up short: I run 40psi and I live in SE PA so obviously we've had some cold days here. I just don't get why tries can't keep their pressure evenly. Of course I check the tires when they're stone cold - The valves are new, too.
Well anyways, I don't know any of you, but I figure y'all are a decent bunch. Sooooo... MERRY CHRISTMAS and a prosperous New Year!
I hope that each of you have a peaceful, family fight free, summary offense/misdemeanor/felony free, contended time with the ones you love.
I pray the unemployed ones get employed, the sick get healed, and the dispossessed establish roots and a sense of permanence.

Installed rear sway bar

hey all,
Installed rear sway bar last night. Took about a few hours as i’m new to working on cars, was worthwhile though as I can say I did it! I had originally installed backwards but my friend caught my mistake and I reinstalled the right way. I’m excited to see the balance and handling performance.

2009 Sport 66k miles. Only # 2 plug loose. The rest were tight. Also # 4 has oil on plug. Plan to change all plugs. Was able to reach in from behind for the removal.

Got my 09 base auto 1 month ago. Got new battery, did oil change, transmission oil change, Akebono pads with centric discs, hitachi coils, NGK plugs, KYB suspensions. Brake fluid started to leak at the bleed valve after bleeding it so hopefully a new bleed screw will fix it

Looks tidy. Also interested in initial impressions, driveability.

Don't think I've made mention of it yet but I bought another:

Bought it for a pretty sweet deal, 09 sport auto. Keeping the miles off my red one, and it'll become my primary means of transport when the day comes the K swap goes in. 167k on the clock for the blue one and she still feels pretty right. Needs new tires and a little suspension help but she's good.

Nice...congrats on the 2nd Fit!
Overall the brakes feel a lot better. I got the street pads and so far im pretty happy. They have more bite but nothing too aggressive to interfere with daily driving...which is all my car will ever do...even after i motor swap it. Ill report back after i have more time with em.

Ps...if anyones interested ive decided to sell my clear Gp1 tails in the classifieds.

Did you ever do the type R front caliper swap? My memory ain't what it used to be. I've still got those on my red one, I've really liked how streetable they've been. Like the first 5-8% of pedal input is steady and pedestrian, but get beyond that threshold and it stops like it hit things.

No never did the type r swap. Actually i kept going back n forth between that n the wilwoods. The mini cooper rotors for that bbk are now $150 each. Overall the type r bbk kit currently comes out to be a few bucks more than the cost of the wilwoods even. I did like the fact a person isnt stuck with proprietary pads like w the wilwoods. The idea of 4 pistons and the clean look of the wilwoods is what made me pull the trigger. I dont think the spare fits anymore, and according to another user i messaged the stock sport wheels come super close, but i havnt myself checked yet as my stocks were not easily accessible. Might have to grab a set of 3mm spacers.

Fitted a new pair of KYB rear shocks after a motorcycle ride and before church this morning. Few things will be easier to do on this car than replacing the shocks.

Any chance you’d sell the set you don’t end up using? I love these!

Grill intatall

@eulogy inspired me to go custom on the J’s replica grill since my last mugen grill wasn’t a trueFIT hehe.

I got a little impatient with myself and ended up cutting more in areas that I shouldn’t have so it’s a little off center. But 2-3 coats of 2k high gloss and it looks pretty spot on despite the car needing a serious wash.

A little off center but I don’t mind

It’s far from perfect but it’s still my ride.

Installed reman dense starter at 180k. Starter was making a grinding noise during cold morning start. Also replaced front caliper bleeder valve but the bleeder seems to be still leaking slightly… maybe time for new calipers
