i only got the fit cuz my truck failed on me n because of gas prices i wanted something more fuel efficient but now im make MUCH more than i was b4 so gas is no problem.

the car is still fun to drive n everything, i just want more power...alot more power tryna get 250+ hp in the end!

Putting in a K24 would destroy the car in my eyes (even if it would be possible, not sure if it is). The balance and weight distribution would be killed, the car would have terminal understeer. If you are looking to add a bunch of power to the car, I would build up the internals properly, put a proper FI system on the car, maybe get Hondata to tune the car for you once all is complete.

A 09 tsx motor only makes 201 hp. My 07 makes 205 hp and I find it hard to believe you can fit it in the Fit. My TSX motor is easily twice the size (dimensions wise) as my fit. Plus the weight is so much more.
Now if you talking about the 3.5L V6 tsx motor for 2010 280hp then keep dreaming.
Plus the fact you have an auto means your tranny more in likely won't be able to handle anything over 180 hp if that without some major revamping.

I think for our small engine (and to keep a light weight car) only a supercharger or turbo is the only way to go...but non of those are out yet so good luck.

If I were you I would keep the fit the same and since you making so much money now (cough drug dealer cough cough) I would just buy a weekend toy if you want power. A nice used modded 350z would be a fun toy.

Here you go....

Acura is Honda???? How is Acura's TSX motor not reliable?

I think any honda/acura motor still built in Japan is reliable.

K20 would be a good choice. The K24 has too much torque for the little car it would cause massive torque steer.

Or you could buy a Rotrex supercharger and get a custom bracket made so you can run it in the GE8...with custom fuel management!

I say invest the money into something where you will get positive returns. I sure as hell woudn't throw a different motor into a fit.

If you want a powerful fast car then why did you buy a Fit?

The strong points of the Fit is that it's lightweight, economical and fun to drive. Don't mess it up.

Put the money in the bank, don't waste it on your car. you will kick yourself in the ass for it in about 10 years.

A lot of banks are offering high interest yield checking accounts now.

BTW i choose this motor mainly because the '09 TSX motor is a honda motor and it seems like it can really take a beating with the paddle shifters...something i plan on keeping if i do the swap...if its possible. its still a 4 cyl. that packs a really good amount of hp n torque.

trade your car in for a manual and do this to it

YouTube - K20Z3 Supercharged FIT

car would be a beast in a straight line.. if you wanted to be able to track it, youll have to spend some money on serious suspension.

Find a late model Integra (that someone hasn't gone nuts with) and go nuts with it. Drive the Fit when it rains.

You guys...I wanna see this guy blow a boatload of cash and time on something that won't work, stop giving him logical and reasonable ideas! J/K
Sounds to me like you need to buy a different car. If you really are making a huge amount more money now than before it'll end up happening soon anyways. Don't waste your time and money ruining a pefectly good Fit by trying an almost, if not completely impossible swap. If you really MUST keep the Fit go with a built motor and buy/build a nice turbo setup. It'll cost less and be alot easier than trying to swap in a motor that's WAY too big. Or you could do a K20 swap, which is MUCH more realistic and efficient than the TSX motor. Still your best bet would be build stock engine+turbo. If neither of those sound like it's good enough then you need to buy another car or forget the whole idea of having a fast Fit.
