I was on a road trip today and got stopped (again) while getting lunch, and was asked about my Fit. I find it alot of fun showing it off, and telling folks about all the mods you can do to personalize it. Whether they've seen them before or not, they're always impressed with the roomy interior, gas mileage, and overall look...just thought I'd share

Ive gotten more compliments in my Fit than in my S2000.

 

That is one of the fun parts - there are not a lot of Fits on the road in this area so not too many people have seen them. It makes you feel like your driving an exotic instead of a Fit - hey - to me the Fit is exotic!

yea i get them all the time also. the other day when i was leaving work, i cop said that i ran the stop sign when i know i didn't. once i showed him that i've worked there for about 2 years, he let me go with nothing. but before he left, he was like "nice car"

at my sister HS, i was parked n some kid walk up to me n was like, "y is yours so different from the one what is parked behind you." i didn't know a FIT was parked behind me. Told the kid, mine's droped with a tint n visors, her's is stock thats y mines is better.

 

This is why I mod the Fit. For the people! I think all of us are attention whores lol

I admit I enjoy the attention, too, after driving an old-fashioned mommy station wagon for a decade.
I also find it's a magnet. Mine is just 6 weeks old so I park as far away from anything in a parking lot that I can to try to prevent door dings and it seems like someone always parks next to me when there are lots of other spaces closer to the store!

 

Tell me about it man I always park waaaay out there away from everyone and there's about 30 empty spaces around me, yet I always come back to some beat up van parked right next to me...

 

yea im never parking in front of any stores or anything of the sort again unless if i get a spot next to a median or a wall. car was only 23 days old n i got side swiped by some jerkwad who couldn't back out n f'd up my driver side rear door n corner panel. hit n' run. happened on the same day i had my final. i think thats y i failed

 

LOL it happened to me today! A guy stopped me in a parking lot asking how many real mpg I got. I told him about 32/33 and that he should check out the forum. He kept lookin at my FiT like a thirsty man looks at a glass o water. Word!

 

Ive gotten a few, and lots of "what the heck is that?" looks from drivers.

Oh and lots of love from other Honda owners.

 

haven't gotten anything in months, i wonder if people will make the association between the old and new fit?~
or will they just say nice aveo? lol jkjk

 

Today I stopped at the nursing home to visit my Dad (88 years old). There were three nurses from Dad's ward in the parking lot, and all were commenting on how "cute" and "futuristic" my car was.

Usually I only get this kind of attention when I ride the Harley.

 

today, I was asked if it was electric...oh boy...lol

 

Surprisingly, I get that a lot too, Taffeta White.

 

well thats better then being called a fag by a guy in a Lincoln with crappy chrome rims Actualy that has only happend once for the most part I get alot of looks and some complements.

On my local car forum I entered for COTM and won. I beat out a Evo, SRT 4 and a Boosted 240.
