Wink 3 minutes of fun at Sand Canyon

My "maiden voyage" with no one in front of me up at Sand Canyon. I went there my first week of ownership (back in November of '08) but was bogged down behind alot of slow pokes so I really couldn't get a good feel for the Fit.

The really fun thing about this stretch of road is that there really aren't alot of straights. It goes from one corner to another and it's alot of fun without needing to gain too much speed.

45 to 60mph will net you a good time without getting crazy and endangering yourself and others. Had a good bit of tire squeal but nothing dramatic. My fit is stock but for the HKS exhaust...

Looking forward to needing new tires and bumpimg up to 17's New springs are in the future as well...

The rattling must have been from the glove compartment.

Nah...glove box is solid on my car It's a bit of a trick to mount a camera...I used a tripod sitting on the folded down seat backs held in place with bungee chords. Not exactly solid. Tripod is making alot of noise bouncing around.

I'm all ears if you've got a good way to mount a camera...

On a different note, someone selling a kit that makes any car sounded like it has a turbo.

I am not sure if there is a do it yourself but people have been mounting cameras to the headrest bars. My internet is being slow so I can't find a pic or anything. I will keep searching.

The measurement might be different. I found this DIY on 8thcivic.
