Fun in the twisties...
A few weeks back, I decided to take a little road trip, and wound up on Rt. 71 through Starved Rock State Park near Utica, IL. That stretch of 71 has lots of twisty-turny-up-and-down to it... it was a favorite spot of mine back when I had the '82 RX-7.
The Fit handled the hairpins with aplomb. Plenty of go when launching out of a turn, and plenty of g-force in the turns as well... and that was with the stock Dunlops. It's been a long time since I had that much fun on that road!
Even better... as I cleared the last turn before the road exited the park, what did I see going the other way? Why, of course, another Fit! Looks like I'm not alone appreciating the car's handling!
