Haven't measured my temps but I have found that having the driver's door vent pointed on me I feel a LOT cooler. Temps in the 90s here and it feels fine. Not super-overpowering but not bad, either.

I've had better but being here in Tucson where it gets "hot" I do have to say it seems more than adequate.

It might not be the coldest around but it does its job and that's all I care about.

Personally, I don't have a big problem with it. I realize it could be colder, and it would be nice if the condenser didn't cycle on/off quite as often, but it's not a huge issue.

See this thread for more info/opinions on the subject: https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...c-trouble.html

I noticed the condenser cycling. The knob is all the way cold and yet the condenser cycles off when the car isn't really that cold at all. Is this normal or should I get my AC system checked out?

Once it gets warm here, I'll chime in, but I haven't even come close to having to use mine yet. It's barely been much over 70 here so far this spring.

No complaints on our A/C. Seems to be working fine, but of course
it isn't has hot up here in Vancouver, B.C.

So far we have recorded a high of only 29 degrees Celsius.
We have been driving with the A/C on 100% of the time lately.

I live in Texas, and I always leave my air to cycle on 2 or 3 with no complaints. Sometimes my fiance complains its cold. And trust me, it's already been high 90's for a few weeks, I think we already hit 98. It's hot here!

Mine seems fine, not great but not bad. I live in the Mojave Desert and we've been over 100 (in May), but lately it hasn't been that hot. Either way, feels fine to me. I may change my mind when the heat really comes, but so far - it works.

The AC is garbage. Windows down work better as long as I'm moving and not stuck in traffic.

I think that my 1st. generation Fit needs a stronger AC. I notice that people that live in cooler or dryer parts of the country aren't complaining as much as those that don't live in those areas..... It is the hothouse effect of the huge wind shield causing the problem by heating the dash and AC vents.... I put some darker than legal tint (and used more than the legal amount) across the top of my wind shield. It seems to have helped some and the cops haven't said any thing...... Getting a sun shade to keep the dash area cool and turning on the AC with the windows down and gradually raising them as you begin driving will help to extract the hot air and cool the interior much quicker..... About the only other things you can do is to carry plenty of ice cold water to drink, and dress for the beach.
