Hit something on the highway!!!

Going north on 99 (California) a couple weeks ago and something was thrown up from in front of us and hit our Fit hard. It broke both fogs (which one was already chipped) and scraped up our bumper and hood nicely... After going to the shop the total was $1300 dollars!!! thankfully our insurance covered us and all we had to pay was the $100 dollar deductible. We got 2 new OEM fog lamps and a repainted hood and front bumper.

Just ordered some Lamin-x sheets to protect the fogs and will post a step by step of installing these on our fogs since we have the problem with road debris damaging our fog lights.

Good thing you have such a low deductible. I usually keep mine pretty high. Look forward to your Lamin-X DIY....

yikes...thats why I put 3m protective film on the front of fit and fogs. I know anything bigger than a golf ball is going to damage the fit no matter what but at least the small stuff will be blocked.

Glad insurance covered it for you no problem.
