Rear Hatch Rattling Noise Fix

There has been a rattling noise at the rear hatch for past few weeks. I was tempting to rip the trim panel off and take a look. While I was trying to figure out how to take off the trim panel, I noticed a small plastic cover plate located at the bottom of the trim panel right above the latch was loose. I put some electrical tape along the inner edge of the small cover plate and put it back on. The annoying rattling noise is gone.
If you are experiencing rattling noise at the back, take a look at that cover plate. This could be an easy fix.

My fit is rattle free again..........

There are also little adjustable dampers you can mess with if you have a different rattle there, FWIW.

i dunno if damper is the right word, just little rubber pads on the hatch door that you can spin to make looser or tighter.

I think those are door stop bumpers.
