A/T "Sport" Mode Question
A/T "Sport" Mode Question
When operating in sport mode (without using the paddle shifters), shouldn't the transmission cycle through 1st-4th gears? I don't have my owners manual handy but seems like I read sport mode will stop the transmission from hunting between 4th and 5th in stop and go driving? Reason I ask, Mine won't shift any higher than 3rd gear in sport mode...
Mine won't shift into 4th until about 78 MPH. It then stays in 4th below 78, you just have to get that fast before in will go into 4th. I also thought I had a problem when my Fit was new, even went to test drive others to verify that they all did this.
I don't think you understand the question, he was asking about using a Fit Sport automatic in the S mode without ever touching the paddle shifters. If your Fit Sport ever shifts into 5th when you are in S mode and haven't used the paddles, you have a problem. By the way what is a cretin RPM (did you mean certain RPM)?
