Those arent HID's. Those are xenon bulbs in a reflector housing. Crazy amounts of glare. Narrow beam pattern. Silly color. God I hate those things. Nice gesture though.

What an awesome deed! Congrats!
I miss having HID's but holy crap that's a lot of glare. I would be pissed if I was passing you on the road.

Projectors are a must for HID's.

No its not the camera. Xenon bulbs in a reflector housing will cause tons of glare. Sorry dude.

Some Osram night breaker halogen bulbs would be brighter than stock and a xenon bulb, and they cost less than a "HID" kit. I rather stay stock than put those things on my car.

The higher the number the less light it puts out by the way. Anything higher than 4300k will lower visibility.

But it makes your car look ghetto and cheap. I usually expect to see a 88 civic with chrome rims and a 4" inch exhaust driving by when I see HID kits. Poser status.

Stock is free. The Osram halogen bulbs cost less than the HID kit you put on your car and are brighter.
