Looks great. I like those smoked lights moreso than the JDM base tails.

Are those Rota R-Specs?

Having black or chrome headlight housings should have been a factory option for the GE8. They look much better than the chrome ones.

Just curious, did you put lamin-x (or another brand) protective film on your fog lights yet? I think putting some smoked film over the fog lights would complement the black headlight housings quite nicely.

I know I suck at taking pictures. I have an old camera but I did use a tripod. I'm just not very good.

Anyways, I'll update when "the mod" is done. It'll look mucho better.

as simple as they are, the RED H on the center caps makes a pretty nice difference. wonder when ROTA dealers will get the damn 16 x 7 et 45 size back in stock.. i was thinking these R-Spec or Slips...

Where'd you get the center caps? i like them

Big in cost for me. Big in change for Adele. But nothing compared to what you've done.

Wow, good photo, tough exposure.

Hope you don't mind that I took the liberty to try my hand at it, using the original you posted.

I've cropped it a bit but I prefer your original full frame composition. You've got a good eye ;-)

Looking close I could see the focus is a bit off on Adele. Try setting focus on the car, looks as if the camera picked a focus in the background.
Look how sharp the tree appears, car is a tiny bit off.

Usually if you point the camera on the subject, press shutter release halfway and hold, then frame the shot you can do that - even on simpler digitals. With a tripod set-up it gets confusing, need a forth hand.

Notice how I've been able to pull detail/high lights out of the side of the car.

Thanks for the picture help. It looks really good like you had it. The sun was in a weird place and was blasting. I just have always had problems with pictures. When I get the finishing touches on the exterior (2 things), then I may be hiring a budding photographer to get some really good shots.

Just curious if those are base headlights or '12 sports? they seem more black than dark gray. Lookin good!

They are base headlights. I think they look really good and really complete the look I'm going for.

I'm going to do some cosmetic changes pretty soon including some black headlights and something big as well... The interior of your car plays a big part in the overall look of your car though it would still stand out with the stock interior... The Swift springs improve the look of a GE more than they do a GD....I'd have to do more than I can afford to do to even begin to have my car look as good as yours..

Pictures are really good. Unless you climbed a tree to get another view you did very good. My son goes to a parking garage or dock area when he takes pictures but the nature look is better.

You need to take Adele back up to the Ice House and get another picture up there... I was there and tried to match your photo and didn't come close.

Just read through the whole thread. I like what you've done so far. Kinda liked the JDM base tails better, but that's just me. Clazzio's look awesome and If I wasn't probably going to get Buckets for the fronts I would have gotten a set by now. Did you ever end up getting the new shift boot? I do like the head lights. I have a pair painted just like that sitting in the corner of my room that I need to retrofit eventually with some EVOX-R's.

Can't wait to see what "the mod" is

Am waiting on the boot because I may end up with one for Valentines Day. :-)
Thanks for the props. The clazzios have been great and I'd recommend them to anyone.

I'll post some pics up tomorrow!

Looks really nice. The dark wheels with the red H looks yummy with the Taffy.
