some light rattling under the steering column
anyone with some light rattling under the steering column? i pinpointed to be the plastic piece thats right behind the knob for the telescoping steering wheel.
it isnt loud but it is quite annoying esp. on freeways. anyone with this issue?
i was planning to go and ask the dealer to insulate it more or fix it..since i only have 2,000 miles on it. u guys think they would?

I have the same rattle on my brand spanking new 2010 Fit Sport 5spd M/T. I'm gonna stuff some kind of padding/insulation under there and hopefully that helps. Friggin' cheap ass flimsy plastic that isn't bolted to anything. WTF Honda, you make an awesome car and then cheap out on the interior? This better be the only rattle.

rattle fixed
I should have posted this but I found the source of the rattle on my Fit. There is a panel under the driver side steering column that wasn't properly installed, apparently. There is a small screw-like fastener on the left of the panel that you twist and it releases the panel - after I did that I could pull the panel down and I noticed there is a shaft that is supposed to run through a small opening and the shaft was on the outside of the opening and hitting it whenever I would go over a bump. I put the shaft through the opening () and fastened the the screw to tighten it again and now the rattle is gone.
