When should I do my 2nd service?

I am at 9000 miles right now, but the car is kind of feeling sluggish. Do I need to change the brakes or air filter or maybe something else? I don't need an oil change yet, but then I just want to know if there is anything else.

Thanks in advance for any ideas.

How do you know you dont need an oil change? Because of the fake oil life meter in the cluster? Change your oil. Thats the only service you need right now. 9000 miles without an oil change?!

Oh I guess I forgot to mention I have already gotten an oil change at about 5000 miles and the oil meter is at 60% now

Heh that's better. You should be all right. I'm at 12,000 and haven't had anything else done besides a bottle of fuel injector cleaner. Doubt it did anything but I had a bottle laying around. Honda's don't require too much maintenance. You should be ok for a while. It takes 2 minutes to check the air filter, I usually check mine once a month to see how clean it is.

Also the top is vinyl, thanks.

qbmurderer13, where do I go to find a vinyl top for a 2009 Fit or is it custom? Thanks

hahah well you did ask when to do your 2nd service, so it was already implied that you had a 1st service done. getting all crazy on him for not having changed the oil yet lol.

I'm going in for service on Monday. My first was at 6500 miles and this one I am close to 14k. No real issues though. Oil meter is at 40% right now.

feels sluggish? from the heat and humidty maybe?

try driving it around a tad more aggressively so that the ECU re-adapts to your driving. you need to tell the car that you demand more power otherwise it will go into economy mode and be come very lazy like a lot of people... this is no lie though... the ECU adapts to your driving.
