09 Center Armrest Question!
I got mine from zetaproducts today. Did not take the old armrest off yet to drop it in, but it looks like a nice product.
Color matches nice and appears to be fairly well built. It's not OEM, but for the reasonable price I can live with it.
Received it in two days after paying.

Here ya go................

Colors match very well..............for some reason the flash makes the fabric and console look like two different shades. The guy that sells them has the same problem when posting his ebay ad.
It's not OEM, but for the price and ease of install, I'm happy with it.

This seems like a great option for a base car. When I see this in pictures, it looks short to me- like it doesn't come forward enough to rest your arm on. Storage, yes- but is it actually functional for an armrest and if so, is it comfortable? Looks like at most, you can get your elbow on there. I have a sport with the drivers armrest and even that, it's mostly for your elbow.

It drops in and bolt to the bottom of the rear cupholder and is plenty sturdy enough to support your arm weight. It does have some give, but unless your using your right arm to get some kind of push-off, rocking start to get out your door, it should not be a problem.
That upper tray lifts out and would probably hold CD's, but I have all my stuff on a flash drive, so I don't have to worry about it. Pretty cool for an old man..........eh?
Height is good and it does what I expected. Looking at the OEM vs this one, the sliding top feature of the OEM would be nice.
For the price it serves my purpose.

It is more of an elbow and partial forearm rest, than a full armrest. As stated above, the OEM sliding top option would be the advantage of it. I just could not justify the price of the OEM and do not have the installation patience.
Definitely more comfortable and wider than that afterthought Honda bolted on, with the height being better also. It does the job I needed it to do.
Got my Zeta armrest
Ok so I got my Zeta armrest and installed it right away. As stated before it does move alittle bit wen you put some pressure but its overall pretty well built. Yes its more of an ELBOWrest but it still works for me since i like to drive with the seat far back. I'd say the only problem is that the leather smells (like a new car has a smell..same with the armrest it has a "new" smell to it".)
I am older and use my stock rest to center my ass in the seat so I suspect the Zeta would collapse when trying this?
I saw another aftermarket for around $60 from HK. It is plastic and while looks nice I would break it first time I leaned on it.

Probably would not stand up well as a "centering" device.
I saw that one from HK and debated between it and Zeta's. Zeta's looked to be better quality, plus they had more ebay sales and positive feedback's on their item.

Just finished installing the Honda Accessory Armrest. It's a great part. Takes a few minutes longer if all you have is a dremmel, but it went in quickly and easily and I couldn't be happier. It's probably the most well made part of the interior. Finally there is a comfortable place to rest your elbo while driving the car! Before, I always felt like I was reaching for the wheel...very uncomfortable. I even had to adjust to sitting closer to the wheel then I generally would...
Okay...I read this whole thread and still have some questions(I am just hoping I didn't miss the answers if they were already posted). So with the OEM ones does it fit with the manual transmission b/c the only ones I have seen is automatics only? Also is the OEM ones the whole center/ middle plastic piece inbetween the driver and passenger seats? I also kept reading that the OEM ones are hard to install and I was wondering why on that as well.
All in all I really want an armrest and I would go with the zeta ones but I am short and I don't really think it would be comfortable and I would much rather have one with the armrest that can move.

I have an MT Base Fit and it works just fine. I was told by my salesman that Honda won't install the armrest in the MT. The Accessory catalog says AT only. If you buy it and do it yourself, they can't stop ya. It's not the whole console. You have to remove a few clips and bolts to remove the long center console, dremmel/drill some holes, bolt the armrest to it, and reinstall it. In my opinion, it was very easy, however I'm probably a good bit more mechanically inclined than most. It's not something a layman couldn't do and there are step by step instructions online. If you can build something from IKEA you can do this.

Thanks for the information. I am thinking about getting one some day but I don't think that it will be anytime soon. I am a college student and should probably be spending money getting back and forth to school ($24.00 a week isn't much but that is more important then mods). Looking on the online instructions it didn't look to difficult....tons of mechanics in my family and it looked like it would work with the MT but I decided to ask because is someone had done it then I would know that it worked.
I've had a Zeta armrest for about a month and I'm very happy with it. I will admit it is ever so slightly 'wobbly' but I noted the whole console is a bit wobbly. The Zeta armrest extends the height which makes the whole thing that way- a 'longer polarity of movement' sort of thing.
