I'm wondering if stuff like exhaust, intake and suspension will fit a GE if I bought it from a GD? Reason I ask, I see a lot of GD stuff right now, like mugen bars, mugen muffler, etc. I'm guessing the suspension is the same and maybe the intake will be the same...but since they changed the body a bit, I'm wondering if the exhaust is a tad different.

Any help would be great, I've search, but didn't find anything.

 

Of the things you mentioned, I don't think any of those GD parts would fit the GE. None.

But also, I do believe that the GE started in 08 over there..Something to think about.

 

Check the JDM thread above. OP Dave found a JDM GE Tanabe cat back that fits well. NO GD parts will work (actually only MT shifter and brakes are same) GE is a completely different car than the GD

Well, I saw a few things the other day...blitz exhaust, hks exhaust, hyoer gt exhaust (that's what they called it), I saw a couple used front bumpers (says it's from the RS version...not sure how different that is) and then I saw this other bumper...kinda different looking.

neither one of those front bumpers will fit without purchasing a laundry list of parts from japan and major modifications to your USDM Fit.

Both by the way are Honda, one is stock RS and the other is an optional factory kit, i think its call "Nero"

 

Try to find some JDM Base tails...or the LED ones...both are pretty nice and better looking than those tails.

The thing I would worry about with the exhaust is that it would be shorter than one made for usdm because the bumpers on the jdm fit are shorter.

 

*like baked says, no JDM front end parts unless you are willing to change most everything, hood, h lights, fenders etc.

If you look in the thread titled 'some JDM goodies.....' on page 1 you can see a tanabe exhaust that works (other JDM after market exhausts may not fit though, some could be risky)

Popular JDM items that do fit USDM are, red hazard switch, JDM tail lights, blinking mirror covers/ or heated electrically folded blinking mirrors, RS badges, a number of coilover suspensions like RS*R, Cusco, Buddy Club +more..........

Reading that thread I mentioned above is going to be your goldmine of information.

for some reason I was not able to filter out all non GE items in the link above so read carefully, 2nd you should be able to buy items cheaper than those listed above as you are in Japan and thus do not need an importing company like RHD Japan

holy crap, after looking at the parts list...looks like I'll be needing to make multiple trips to the junk yard...lol

 

those bumpers actually have sensors on them to tell you how close you are to an object... i actually like the look of them
