I know that there were lots of aftermarket parts made for the GD but not so much for the GE. Would there be lots of trouble trying to fit GD parts on a GE? Say an exhaust or spoilers stuff of that nature.

 

What exactly do you want that you feel you might need to use GD parts? There are more than enough exhausts for the GE, spoilers as well if you are willing to spend the coin on them. Why the GD has so many more parts, it was released in 2001 here in Japan and had a 7 year run until '08 when the GE was released.
