Check the owners manual, it will tell you how to reset the service icon.

It's on page 248/249 of your owner's manual.

How much did they charge you? I always wonder how much every body pays for an oil change.

Yeah I'm curious too and what's "full winter syn"?

I've heard of synthetic oil but "full winter"

I can't believe they "DON'T touch stuff like resets". That seems like poor service but I wouldn't really know because I always change my own oil.

Hey, when you pay $29+ for a speedy oil and filter change, do you really expect them to have studied 1000 car manuals in order to know how to change special electronic sensor reset buttons? (The buttons that most cars don't even have?)
Personally, I wouldn't want the quick oil change guys getting in my cockpit and messing around with dials and buttons! (And if you think about it, are you sure you'd really want that too?)

Yes because car manufacturers will usually make the process similar for all of their models.
And if most cars don't even have the maintenance minder that's less cars to study, making it easier to remember the process for those cars that do have it.

The process does not require a degree in rocket science by the way, and is in the owner's manual. Most kids these days perform much more complex button-pushing sequences when playing video games.

No. I don't want them in my car. That's one of many reasons that I posted above that I change my own oil.

I would expect them to do it if I payed for it.
