even beating up your car, ur clutch shouldnt be slipping. Most clutch manufacturers will custom make apps. but no there is no GE upgrade clutch available

ok well maybe it was defective or im unlucky but i feel like the release point is getting higher and higher, besides i kinda want to put a super charger or turbo on my fit.

and i did a little searching and companies are selling performance clutch for 07-09. but does anybody kno if they are actually the same?

Sure it can, depending on how you engage the clutch. Considering the clutch delay valve on this car I can see how a less-than-coordinated, but eager-to-go-fast driver could wear out a Fit's clutch in 20,000 miles. Especially if the clutch wasn't broken in properly.

well i broke it in properly hahah i used to have a 240 that i loved sliding around in and i did multiple clutch swaps to. but it too had a valve kinda like the one the fit does but you culd bypass it. can you bypass the fits? and how does the fits work exactly?

I'm just curious, how many clutch swaps did you do on the 240 and over how many miles?

thanks on agreeing that the clutch would be gone, but i do believe the car has a clutch made for the everyday driver not for the guy who likes to launch and race like me. but can this valve be bypassed? does anybody know where its located? and does anyone have a pic of their clutch, off a gd or ge?

I am curious. If you like hot rodding, and drifting, why on earth did you pick a Fit?

According to M&M Honda, the clutch and flywheel from the GD work on the GE as well. Also a diff for the GD will work on the GE. This is something I will swap out eventually to ATS/Across carbon parts. Wanted to go back to ORC, but they do not make anything for the Fit.
