How much longer on the clutch?
I noticed yesterday that my clutch slipped a little here and there. Now I have been taking it to SCCA events and the occasional spirited driving, but I normally thought that this clutch would a least get me to 75,000 or so and I'm at 34,000.
I was thinking of getting a transmission flush soon cause its due, but was wondering if anyone has changed there clutch to aftermarket at around the same milage. If you have, did you check the wear on the stock surface?

Well it seems to be holding strong. I took some rides in it yesterday and I don't know where the slipping was coming from, but it isn't doing it now. I guess I will go with an aftermarket one anyway when I get that AJ-Racing Turbo type R kit.
How long it'll last depends if it's work, or if you just glazed it. If you glazed it..drive normally for a week or 2 then see if it slips in 4th at higher RPM. (5th gear is the hardest on a clutch but to get to high RPM in 5th you';d be speeding so I won't publicly reccomend it).
I used to glaze the clutch on my ole 323GTX all the time drag racing. for a few hundred miles it would slip if I was more than 50% on the throttle. Then a week later..perfect.

So far so good I've gotten used to it. I haven't really raced it at all, but so far so good. Yet, they have after market clutches for the XA, (I haven't really looked at the Versa though but I wouldn't be surprised if they do.
