gd springs on ge?

gd springs on ge?

i was wondering if gd springs fit on a ge and if they will lower the car? and if lowering springs for a gd will work on a ge?

it works, and it actually lowers it a bit.

ok so the stock gd springs lower the car? what about after market gd springs? they lower the car about 1.5 in for the front and 1.4 in for the rear. how low would that make my ge?

you would need to find the thread where the person did a side by side with the GD springs vs the GE stocks. Once you find how much the gd's drop it, then you can figure in the actual lowering springs i'd suppose. But, if you are lowering it anyways, might as well use one's GE specific unless you're looking to go lower than what is offered.

well some1 said it lowers it about 20mm so thats roughly .7 in. with that added to the drop of 1.5 in. it will drop it a little over 2 in.? hahah my ge will look so low if it does

just confirming that the GD springs are lower than the GE springs comparable side by side, however upon installing them they turned out to be exactly the same height. whether they need to settle in or not, 2hrs after the install the height remains exactly the same as the stock GE springs.

just wanted to clear it up that it doesnt drop it 20mm over the GE springs

probably cuz they are stiffer but i did put lowering springs for a gd in my ge and it lowered it more then 1.5.... so idk hahah
