GD and GE Springs?

Is there really a difference? I keep seeing springs for sale on the classified section, and I'd love to pick up a set, but they always seem to be listed for the GD.... are they not swappable?

Yeah the springs for GD and GE are different. BC @ the rear springs, the spacing for the springs on a GE is smaller than then GD.

Wrong.

I have a whole GD suspension (Springs and shocks) on my GE.

The GD spring rate is higher than the GE, and the GD springs are shorter than the GE springs.

GD springs are substantially stiffer than GE springs. So, yeah, it'll be a little bit rougher.

It'll be interesting to know how's the outcome of installing GD springs onto the GE, by any chance would you know of anyone doing this??

Do a search. I have the GD3 Mugen suspension package (shocks and springs) on my GE8.

i guess if you can find a deal, pick up the gd's, but why not just buy ge specific springs?

Personally, I would buy a good set of adjustable coilovers if I had it to do over again. Unfortunately my Mugen setup is going to last as long as a stock setup.

I'm keen in either the mugen or the J's racing but just wanted to find out if I'll be able to lower my ride a little with GD's springs for the moment first to improve firmer ride and better handling as I've just change my wheels to 15" with 195/55R15 tires.
