Question Splash guards/mud flaps for Sport?

When I was talking about accessories with the dealer, he offered a 'protection package' for $595 which included the splash guards, wheel locks, and rear cargo tray. I told him that was a ridiculous price and that I could get these things on my own much cheaper.

But when I went up on College Hills Honda to look at the splash guards, they say specifically they're not made for the Sport body. (Which of course begs the question how was the dealer going to put them on.) Right now I'm riding around without them. Should I worry about it? Are there aftermarket guards I should/could get? Do the Honda ones fit the Sport even though they're not specifically made for it?

I believe the rear splash guards will "fit" the Sport, but the front ones won't, because of the extended rocker panel moldings on the Sport.

I decided against mud flaps on mine. The car is very slab-sided with no lower body "tuck in", and IMO doesn't really need or benefit from mud flaps.

Well if someone upstate doesn't need them, neither do I. You see much harsher weather than I do and if your Fit is fine, so is mine. Thanks!

Uh, spam alert.

I sure hope that's not your pick-up line!

I ordered wheel locks from College Hills Honda, they're actually set to be delivered today, along with my accord horn conversion kit. I know my dealer was full of crap. Actually, it was the 'business manager' whose job it is to scare you into buying accessories you don't need. When he quoted me that price for those three items I asked him if he was on crack LOL. Whatever, I know how not to get ripped off. I'm also gonna get the cops to VIN etch my car for free, my mechanic friend to put on the wheel locks for me and then I'll feel better about not always having my Fit in my sight. I had a nightmare about wheel thieves! LOL
