looking to put a turbo on my 09 fit

ive had my fit for a few months now and well im ready to give it a bit more go. i looked at putting a cone airfilter on it but if i choose to get a turbo for it it will just be pointless. and im not sure if someone has posted about this already because im sure they have. the moral of the story is most of the turbos i have found are for the 2007. has anyone put a turbo on their 09 fit if so which one and how did you like it. i know the fit isnt the fastest car but its peppy and i like it i just wouldnt mind it being a little bit faster.

thats unfortunate to hear. i guess if i cant find one ill have to go with the cone airfilter which is like five more horsepower. wooooo. but yeah i mean i dont know a lot about cars but i dont see why the 07 turbos couldnt be fixed a bit to fit the 09.

Did you look at the thread? That company has a kit...

And don't expect much of a change from a cone filter, if that's what you decide to do.

Then hope and pray for a supercharger kit. Generally less problems.

i didnt say i know nothing about cars. i just dont know anything about the fit. i just recently got it also there is a fairly large skill gap between putting in a new intake and putting a turbo in. and i know putting a new air intake on it wont really do anything at all i mean a five horse boost isnt even really worth it. but its time to replace my air filter anyway so i was just thinking why not go with a cone air filter.

If you're looking for an intake, I'd highly recommend the PRM intake.

Nice thanks. I mean I'm not trying to act like I know everything about cars like some douches. I'm alright with this stuff but I'm still learning. Thanks for the recommendation any good sites where I could pick it up? I live in a bumfuck town with few part stores.

First of all, you're fine! Just shrug off the rudeness man!
Sometimes you get comments from guys who do not like the 2nd gen Fit and some from people who currently do not even own a fit.
Sometimes it is the established guy, being manly and beating on the newbie. Dont worry about it. Generally most are decent and helpful.

If you want info on the PRM it is here, www.prmracing.com
