Funny thing is that I asked the same question to people here about a month ago and they all said "hey noob, use the search function!" lol Anyhow, after doing some reading and stuff my own, and I ended up getting a PRM intake. It sounds good and it works pretty well for me. I bought it for $260 shipped, and I think it's a pretty good price. No check engine light after also

I think AEM is working on an intake system for the GE8. I would wait for that.

I have the Takeda CAI installed on my Fit. I really like it, but If AEM is making one for the GE8 i would agree with JDM and wait for that.

I have Takeda as well... i would pay like 3x more to just not have the K&N oil based filter, or an PRM intake (basically just a reversed installment of a regular but SMALLER filter cone)

THE MAIN reason i went Takeda was for the filter tho, its a Afe intake filter, which is "supposed" to have stock/paper equivalent filtration, for less flow then K&N of course

My recommendation is Takeda or Injen just because its CAI, the other intakes are like Ram intakes. and Takeda you can only install on a manual transmission... so you might as well take advantage of having a manual transmission and getting a CAI.

EDIT: AEM uses dryflow filters like Takeda... yeah.. wait for AEM if you don't like the Takeda brand.

Don't overpay...

Buy whatever brand filter you want and make your own intake.
I have the AEM Dryflow filter currently.
