"At cost"
Is there a way to find out what cost is (not MSRP) for a 2010 Fit AT?
There is a dealership in my area that is offering a discount for teachers --> New vehicles at cost plus three to five per cent depending on availability and market conditions.
Anyone have any clue where I can find this info?

Truecar.com provides some good info, just enter you're zip. Invoice is $17,568 for an AT Sport, however, dealers actually pay only about $17,223.
The thing that gets me about that dealership's offer is the line "depending on availability and market conditions"...there isn't any. You can try, but at this point, many dealerships just won't budge on the price of the Fit because of such limited supply.

I paid 15,738 for a new 2010 fit sport a/t and pretty sure that was around their true cost

The $17,568 figures in the destination fee, so if you minus the $710, it brings it to $16,858 and lower for dealer cost.
How and more importantly, when, did you get your Fit for such a low price? That definitely isn't an easy price to negotiate for at most dealerships. How much did you pay OTD and how many miles were on the odo?

Get the Consumer Reports New Car Price Report and show it to the salesman. It completely changes the game. I go my 2010 base fit for $15,538 plus a $249 document fee. I wouldn't pay more than 3% over the Consumer Reports bottom line price. I also recently bought a Subaru Forrester for my daughter and paid 2% over the bottom line price. I'm surprised to hear that dealers are not budging on the Fit price. I got the impression they were not selling too well now that gas prices are low.
BTW, the Edmunds invoice price was too high. The salesman actually brought the Edmunds site up on his computer to show us. If the Edmunds price was close to invoice I don't think he would of done that.

When I checked truecar it came up with sucker prices.
Other good local dealers in my area were asking ~$16,200 or so, again for a 2010 fit sport a/t.

I rely on Edmunds and KBB for pricing information. One thing that does vary between different markets is the amount the dealer has to pay into the regional advertising fund, which is charged per car. There is also a "holdback" of a couple of percent that is not reflected on the invoice. Those two items roughly cancel each other out in big city markets. There are other allowances, year end and otherwise, that change the true cost of the car to the dealer. Its nearing the end of the model year and the new Accord has not exactly been met sales expectations, so there are probably hidden dealer incentives to move them. Fit supply has been nicely constrained to prevent such a problem.
As for the influence of gas prices, $3 is now the norm in many states so people are used to it. Panic hit back when it was close to $4 and paying over MSRP for new economy cars or thousands for an old Geo Metro was the stupid reaction.

It is also a sad sad commentary that 3 bucks a gallon doesn't raise an eyebrow any longer. Just what big oil was hoping for. Sting them with 4.80 [last year] and 3 bucks will seem like a bargan. It is not a bargan folks. Wake up. This is the very reason I bought a Fit- at a good price I might add. As the gas prices continue to rise right before our conveniently closed eyes, I'm happy to roll past the pump 28 days out of 30.

Reason is probably because I bought in March of 2009.

We're at about $4.00 / gallon. And usually summer time means higher prices. With the introduction of the HST (new tax) who knows what we will pay. It's crazy.

How do you know their true cost? Let me guess you are an accountant for the dealer
My guess is that is slightly above what most dealers pay after all the background incentives, but only the dealership owners (and their accountants) know the true cost after all the shenanigans.
