Arrow Oil change % won't go back up.

I tried doing a search in the forums for this topic but couldn't find it. Please post an answer if there is already a post for this.

I got my oil changed at 20% on my gauge for oil and the percentage never went back up to 100% after the oil change. Did my garage guy do something incorrectly? Or maybe I got screwed over and he never changed my filter?
My oil meter is now at 15% and the orange wrench comes up every time I start my car. It's a little bit of a drag because I like watching my awesome gas mileage.

Had the same issue just a few days ago and Crash answered it for me. Here's the thread:

Good luck!

you have to Reset the Maintenance minder. It's in the owner's manual. The Maintenance minder doesn't actually analyze the oil and know when you change it, you have to manually reset it to 100% and then it will begin re-analyzing your driving style, intake temperature, etc... to determine the rate at which it will go back down.

The Garage mechanics have to reset it. I just bought a used Honda FIT and part of the certification was to change the oil. Well, the dash was telling me: oil 60%. I thought that these bastards didn't change the oil! Turned out they just forgot to reset it....
I don't know how they actually do reset it, but I suspect wizardry as they took the car away for this simple operation. Or is it that they don't want me to change my own oil....
ahhhh conspiracy theorist, please follow up...

Sorry about that Kelsey. Below is how I did mine... with Crash's help. Had to repeat it a few times because I let go of the knob too soon.
(1) Put key into 2nd position, (dash lights up like a Christmas tree).
(2) Find the trip meter/dash dimmer knob/switch on your gauge.
(3) Push knob until you see your oil life displayed.
(4) Hold down knob until oil life display starts blinking then let go.
(5) Hold down knob again until the oil life display resets.

Hope this works for you.
