passwordjdm.com and the 2nd gen fit

hey all,

i've been looking to see whats out there for the GE8's. i think the companies that have parts for the ge8's are on this site. lol

when i had my 5gen civic, i used passwordjdm.com for my build. i love their stuff, and i wanted to see if they had anything for the 2nd gen fit. i searched the site, and could only find 1st gen stuff. so i email them, and ask if they carry anything, or will be carrying anything for this gen fit. the response i got was and i quote:

"we wont be doing anything else for the fits, the market is to small for that car

thanks"

i'm not bashing the company, or bashing anything about it. i'm just kinda put out by the short and sweet email from a company i like. i figured there would be a list of parts that would work with the fit, or something they "could" get, if someone wanted it. they just shut me down.

ah well i guess. thoughts and comments?

Yea no love for the 2nd Gen Fit. Assulttech.com has a really nice selection of parts for our awesome whips! PWJDM is overrated anyway. we got T1R and JDP both who supply high quality pawts.

This is why i dislike Password... I used to support them until they did me dirty... now cutoff forever.. Their products are also cheap knockoffs.

cars come out every year, manufacturers can't make parts for all of them. not standing up for pwjdm, but just sayin' from their perspective they want to be where the majority are

i'm gonna agree with everyone above. i bought from them once and don't plan on doing it again in the future. they did a bait-and-switch maneuver on me, dirty.

the statement above is true, but it also works the other way.
you don't want to compete where the majority is when there are so many other, and better manufacturers to compete against. in pwjdm's case, i think that they are slowly getting beat out in the honda/acura market today. there are many other companies with parts of better quality and same price, or a little pricier but waaaaaaaaaaaay better quality and looks.
some ppl may think it would be smarter not to compete against the top companies that put out parts for the more popular/performance minded vehicles, and thats where the other vehicles come in, and thats where they can capitalize as well. i do see that they are making parts for mitsu, nissan and scion, which i think is good for them because i believe that their parts are not as popular and sought after as they used to be.

just my $0.02

i made a purchase from password on 9/02, the order had not been sent week later, i called on the 9/10, i was told that the distributers had not sent in their shipment; and they would be getting the item that week. i had checked my oder status on 9/15 and the order had not yet shipped. i emailed and left a message on their customer service mail box. no reply. their website never once stated that items were back ordered, and the one time i did contact them they were vauge. i don't think i will purchase anything from them, and i advise that if you do call and ensure that your item is in stock. worst customer service.
