Arg-g-h! Just got a call from the dealer. No Blackberry Pearl for 2011. He doesn't know what colors will be available. I'll post when I find out.

For 2011 tidewater blue is being replaced by celestial blue. Blackberry pearl is being replaced by vortex blue. Rev orange stays. That's all I found out.

I wonder if these are color name changes only or will colors be much different.
Celestial blue could be same as tidewater, but gunmetal sounds darker than silver. "vortex blue" tells me nothing. It would be a shame to discontinue the awesome Blackberry Pearl color

After reading this thread yesterday, I've been doing some digging, trying to figure out what these "new" colors will look like (I love this kinda stuff, plus I'm so darn impatient!)

Since the GE8 Fit came out in 2008, other markets have had a turquoise-ey blue color called Cerulean Blue (I have a model of it, and it's also in my Jazz brochure a friend brought back from Germany)...and from what I can tell, it's pretty close to Clear Sky Blue on the current Insight.

Celestial, Cerulean, Clear Sky - sounds like it's going to be the same color...

Wait... - I just checked the US Honda website, and the 2011 Accord Sedan comes in "Celestial Blue" - it's kind of a silvery-blue, not purplish like Tidewater was...but their color selector isn't the most spot on, so will have to see this in person (2011 Honda Accord Sedan - Exterior Colors - Official Honda Site)

And the Fit comes in a darker, more gun-metally color in the South American markets (Honda Mexico calls it "Anthracite" and Honda Brazil has "Palladium Gray" or "Graphite Metallic", Honda Chile has "Polished Metal")...I do know that almost all the other US Honda models (except the new CRZ) come in Polished Metal - I'd bet that this is the new gunmetal color for the Fit in '11.

And I have no clue on the Vortex Blue - as long as Blue Sensation sticks around, I'm good!

Ok, enough postulating for one night, let's hope color swatches and brochures and 2011 models show up soon so we can all see the new colors!

The vortex blue is a medium-dark blue. The gun metal silver that the dealer told me about is more politically correct Polished Metal Silver.

The dealer told me that the first Sport AT that they get will be the gun metal silver. Five or six weeks until the first one gets to our dealer. We only have one within 200 miles.

I went to the dealer today to look at the gun metal silver. Since I can't get blackberry pearl in a 2011, I'm going with the gun metal silver.

Thanks for the info dod488 - I checked and Acura has Vortex Blue on the TSX:
2010 Acura TSX | Colors & 360s: Exterior Color | Acura.com

Looks identical to Blue Sensation for the Fit, maybe they're replacing 2 colors with one?

So I guess we BSP Fit's will be a rare bird afterall!

Blackberry pearl was a very poor seller, thats why it was replaced, it appealed to a small number of buyers so it was yanked.
glad to see some new colors, the Silver storm and Blue sensation were the top selling colors...along with Tafeta while.

That gunmetal silver is going to look good. I was wondering why the Fit didn't come in a dark gray. The accord gets it, and so does the civic.

the fit is very aerodymanic and a think the brighter colors highlight the body accents.
The Silver Storm Metallic and the Blue Sensation pearl are my favorites by far.
Gunmetal silver might look cool too..I think a metallic red might look good
Dark Grey not good as this car usually appeals to the younger market segment.

when you get your 2011 let us know, the dealers here are still getting in the 2010 fits, no 2011 fits in Canada until january or february.

Most car Dealers are scumbags....

If you go to their website they don't have any 2011 Fits either...
