I really liked BBP--when I went to dealers around here--most of the Fits on the lot were SSM, so no wonder it sold best... Would love to see a metallic red, too.
My salesman told me, they never knew what colors they were getting--they just got them shipped. If someone wanted a particular color (like me) they would have to negotiate a trade with another dealer who had that color.

 

I checked yesterday (11-11-10) with a Northern Calif dealer. He showed me a computer listing with his incoming inventory of Honda vehicles.

One 2011 FIT will arrive in early to mid-December. It's a gray Sport Model with a manual transmission. Next ... in early to mid-January he'll receive several more - different models and colors. He was surprised about my question re colors and said they'd be the same as 2010. I'm not convinced based on previous posts to this forum.

Have to admit ... at this point I'm still considering a Mazda3 2.0 with a manual transmission. 2010's now being offered at somewhere near 14K.

 

The dealer here didn't have vin #'s for 2011s yet. I got tired of waiting and got a Storm Silver 2010S AT. I now have 15 miles on the car.

I found a dealer willing to trade a black mt sport for a white mt sport, both are 2011s an their site said they had none. Definitely have to search hard.
