Hardwired Radar Detectors anyone?
didnt know where to post, plus this is the most active

anyone hardwired a radar detector in a GE8?

whats your set up?

does it turn off with the car and on with the car?

install instruction

This is the best post I seen on this.
I used this post when I added a 12 volt plug to one of those blank switch plates near the fuse box for my gps.

I tapped mine into the cigarette lighter wires and it does turn off with the car. I used the hardwire kit from Passport.
