Wouldn't trade the integrated navi+vsa. Do what you want. I have a Garmin, too, and really appreciate being able to talk to my navi in the Fit.

Hey--don't knock it 'til you've tried it. She always listens, and when I screw up she gets less bent out of shape than someone else in my life (I'm not naming names), and, like someone else I know, is never wrong, even when she screws up. All in all, a satisfactory relationship and one I'm used to.

As much as she costs, she is still more low-maintenance than some others I know.

Really--she's a lot less obnoxious than the Garmin woman (Bitching Betty). If I have to hear that woman say "recalculating" in that pissed-off voice one more time, she's going right out the window.

Yeah, I get that "recalculating" business all the time. If fact, I go out of my way just to hack her off. When I'm driving locally I know better shortcuts than she does and it really ticks her off no end. Like I care if she recalculates or not. Sometimes I just drive around and around the block so that she has to "recalculate" several dozen times. I laugh madly while doing this. This is something I dare not do with the other woman in my life. Sigh.

As a thought... What if...

All guys before the are licensed to get married had to drive around with bitchin Betty for a week or so and be disqualified IF they said ANYTHING other than "yes dear".

If nothing else it would be good training.
