Interior Carbon Fiber

This is my first thread..usually I can find things by searching, but it didn't work this time.
I'm looking for carbon fiber interior overlays. I just want them to cover all the silver in the car.

I found this post in the group buys.
https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/gaug...-cf-stuff.html

That post covers pretty much everything, and I'm currently in the process of purchasing it, however I do not have an A/T so I would need a M/T CF cover for that little silver ring around the shift boot.

My last resort is to wrap that little piece with vinyl...might not look bad, but I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to my car, and I don't know if it would match the real stuff.

If anyone knows of a place that has CF interior pieces please let me know.
Also any other CF pieces are appreciated.

Wow- you are not giving much time for people to respond. not sure if this is waht you want, but You can get some carbon fiber trim pieces from most online Honda shops

Try
CollegeHills or Bernardi parts- listed in vendor area here or do internet search

also try
Honda Fit Accessories - Genuine Factory Honda Accessories

Zeta Products, Inc. Quality Accessories For Today's Hottest Vehicles. - Honda Fit --they have a lot of interior trim pieces for the Fit

Hey,

I wish I saw that thread with all the parts before I started my project. I am currently in the pre-production stages of carbon fiber overlays, and some other parts. so let me know if there is any particular piece you are looking for and I will see if I can accommodate it. I am also hoping to eventually make pieces that replace the actual part instead of overlay. I will keep you posted.

Thx

Those pieces look amazing, but I decided to go with a different approach.

This way it doesn't have any glare, and I can put it where I want it.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks for the info man. This looks really good! Which kit did you purchase and who installed it for you? I was more along the lines looking at ordering this kit from carid.com:

2011 Honda Fit Wood Grain Dash Kits | Carbon Fiber

Does anybody here have this kit? Thanks.

wheelman, I think you just helped me decide how to tackle this problem for my ride! The wrap looks great! How much material did you end up using? Also, did you end up wrapping the ac vents also? I noticed they looked painted black instead. Do you have any more pics?

I just installed part of CARID's 24 piece mini kit the other day. I got the blue/black carbon fiber. I decided not do do all the pieces, cuz I thought it might be overkill. Will post some photos as soon as I can. I was waffling about installing the radio unit overlay, but did anyway & it looks good to me.

jrolon1 - I didn't use overlays for my car due to the gap, I went with vinyl instead. Check out the link in the post with the pictures. That site has all kinds of videos to show how to use it as well.
I did all the work myself. The radio was an interesting piece to take apart.

ATLfit10 - I'm glad I helped someone , and thank you.
I'm not done with everything yet. I tackled the pieces that I was comfortable with doing, and now I'm on to the hard pieces. I broke a clip on my door, and decided to postpone this until spring weather. The cold makes me move too fast, and that's when stuff breaks. I already ordered the piece I broke, so that's remedied
The AC Vents are stock, and I will take more pictures without the glare.

Keep checking back, I'm going to continue this project when the temps get higher than 50.
My next project will be an LED sound activated controller.
I'm going to put LED's behind the speaker grills.
If anyone knows of an LED controller that has audio inputs, please let me know! I want the lights to come on with music...not my voice
