This place bends you over and does you dry on the sales tax, but that can't be helped... way to go!

Stop teasing, that's an excellent deal here in California.

They probably want you to rant to your friends, "I bought this from ____, and a salesman with ___ said they could've gotten me a better deal, I sure wish I'd gone through them."
"Well Golly! I'll just go to them first!"

That sounds like a good price! Yeah, California is the worst for taxes...at least it seems that way! Welcome to the board Dr!

LOL... I paid less than 500 in sales tax when I traded my CR-V for my Element in Nebraska. Trading the Element for the Fit... over $1500.

I almost didn't do it, but dammit, by the time I'm in the back room of the dealership, the new-car fever is terminal. Won't be trading a car again as long as I live here. Normally, unless you can get at least $1,000 more by selling privately, it's not worth it because you take a bath on the taxes. This place turns that notion on its head!

/rant

Welcome aboard!
