Navigation Auto Day-Night does not work.

My navigation system in my '09 Sport will not change from day to night in the auto mode, will change manually however. Is this something that I can fix, or is back to the dealer.

Rotate the dash illumination stalk knob/button (the thing you push to switch from avg mpg to trip to oil life) out of the full on to just under that.

The honda navi isn't all that awesome. Searching for the nearest walmart, for example, is impossible. There are some issues that should have been worked out by now, as my 04 accord has a lot of the same usability problems.
