unfortunately, after weeks of deliberation i will have to pass on getting a fit...dealer offered $18.5k out the door (i live in northern va) for a sport fit but i really needed a base. another dealer had the base for $17.3 out the door but it did not seem like a "new" car. sigh. hyundai time!

it is a steal! but i wanted a base originally for $17.3 out the door so the sport was even farther from what i wanted. they actually offered $19 flat, we left, they called back and said $18.5k lol but it was too late.

Hum, why are you so determined to get a Base instead of the Sport, even when you acknowledge the Sport being a good deal.

it was a good deal relative to the sport's original PRICING. i just don't need what any of the sport has; mostly design. the base was what i needed.

ended up getting another car that offered what i needed for a lesser price.

Its the base model celestial blue (i'll post pics soon) and I couldn't be happier with it, especially after upgrading from a 1989 (yeah, '89) toyota Trecel. This is my first ever new car and I'm so glad I got it.
Similar to me. I bought my very first new car on 5/10/11 - a Fit Sport MT in black. I've *always* driven used cars because new "just wasn't worth it."

I need to run this for 8-10 years to make it worth it, financially. It IS pretty awesome knowing how every mile on the car was driven (I picked my car up with 9 miles on the ODO).

I got a 2011 Fit Sport (w/o Nav) yesterday for $19,600 OTD (9.5% tax sucks) from Honda of San Francisco. They also gave me 0.9% APR!
