Buzz near windshield...

I'd forgotten since last winter, but there is an odd rumble or buzz related to road noise, or at least the car must be moving.
It appears to be temperature related, and it eminates from the right front corner of the windshield or in the glovebox.
It appears to be road speed related rather than engine speed related.

Anyone else notice this? Cause? Fix?
Thnx,
Moon

Once you've had to remove the cowl 10 times this seems like a minor thing.

This is the outside of the pillar...the little trim piece...

It rattles against the windshield. There are a few threads with pics--the one quoted above has it but quite a few posts down.

It also links the above thread and I believe there are pics...don't worry--it is an easy fix.

Thank you, thank you.
That surely looks like the culprit. I'll pick up some silicone stickuppucky in my travels, and give it a try.
The temperature-related part is what makes me nuts; I had it last winter, but it went away again in milder weather.

On mine, it's the passenger side windshield wiper vibrating. When it's really loud I can see the wiper arm bouncing.

Thru' a variety of temps, I haven't heard the dern thing ('...like a mouse humping bubblewrap...', as someone epically said in the other thread).
Let's hope it's fixed. I still need to trim the excess silicone, but the car is so filthy right now it really doesn't matter.

Cool--I'm glad you got it taken care of.

It was a nightmare for me but when I figured out the culprit, and fixed it...I was so excited. It's 100% better now!
