GE gives you magic seats and 4 doors.

EP3 has 4 disc brakes and sportier seats and interior.

i like the ep3
but i don't think you can really compare like that
perhaps if their specs are similar or even in the same category
it's like saying why not get any older car over this slow fit, just saying hehe
though, ep3 looks similar to the gd models - HOT

Lets see.
EP3's are all going to be used (hopefully not abused)
All EP3's are stick. Some people don't want stick (at that rally shifting stick)
GE has a lot more storage, better gas mileage and probably cheaper to maintain (due to cheaper parts and not as performance orientated motor)

Don't get me wrong..I love the EP3 but for a basic commuter car the GE wins in my book. Now for a track car...I don't think its even a question.

Hey, let's compare an old car that isn't made anymore with a new one!

Besides, I can think of better options without a warranty.

Why GE8 > EP3:

- GE8 looks better
- GE8 is lighter
- GE8 has a better chassis (stiffer)
- GE8 handles better
- GE8 gets better MPG
- GE8 gets the bitches (Never heard a chick say that an EP3 is cute.)

An EP3 is? Sorry, to have a normal discussion on here, I'm not going to google every VIN code you guys find the need to toss out there.

160HP, I'm guessing one of the 1.6L late 90's Civics that crumple like tin-cans?

EP3 = 2002 - 2005 Honda Civic Si Hatchback.

Here's a picture for reference:

R6 has 130HP, why not buy an R6 instead of a Vespa?

.
.
.

Because they serve different purposes and these are poor comparisons.

The OP is routinely a source of amusement and poor information. The last couple pages of this thread is comedy gold:

lol. Takes only a few seconds to google the chasis code and honda fanatics know these off the top of their head. Not trying to offend you.

I love the Ep3, stock it doesnt look so great, but with a few exterior mods it's a very nice quick car. My GD3 has more room, 4 doors better mpg...

I wasn't even going to comment on such a poorly-chosen comparison, but this right here deserves quoting.

Or better yet, wait for the new 2012 Si Sedan with the K24, 6-Speed and 170lbs-ft of torque.
