Oh yeah that's why I HAD to get a LSD for my car, even ordering it all the from UK. It DOES make a good difference on help putting the weak enough power on to the ground...

What kinda suspension did you get from Australia? DMS? And do you have a LSD in your transmission/gearbox?

Is there a WTCC/CTCC rule book that I can look at? I really like to know more about how the previous owner built the car to meet the rules.

Hi there!

Very nice work you did on your Fit, the car should be very fun to drive now. If I can suggest something, you should consider work on the gas tank, it make a really big difference. I just ordered mine (from the US) and will put it in the spare wheel compartment. Center of gravity will be much lower and balance will be better. Just this simple upgrade make you win a full second on a short track like the one I am racing at...

I ordered my Tank at Aerotech in NJ (website), then the price of the tank as follow :

171110 12 gallon well cell $437.40
CFD600hp high pressure installed $492.20
Dipstick installed $25.40
Freight to China $139.93

Total $1094.93

And at the end it will look like that : (it's the other Fit still racing in CTCC in 2011 prepared by the Garage i'm working with)

Then I don't see any ECU in you upgrade list? You should as well consider something like a MOTEC or even a cheaper one, but it's good just for the data loggin to see where you can improve on the track and to test new setting and see where on the track the car can handle more G's

Thanks Mike!

I'm not really fan of Turbos, but I know it can make the car very fast and very fun...!

I didn't mention anything about the ECU because my L15 will no longer be existent in my car soon. But as far comparison to the MOTEC data logger, I will be using the IQ3 Race pack. Nice fuel tank. I assumed the oem location was perfect as it is in the center of the car and under the front seats. I will run a fuel cell when it is a full race car.

Yeah with the K20 the ECU will make sense.

The guy who is preparing my car don't want me to swap for a K20, he prepared many of them and still want to stick with the B16B, for him it's the best engine ever produced by Honda, we will see I'm not sure yet I want to swap or prepare the L15A.... I cannot wait to see videos of your car with the K20!!!

My guy just sourced a B16B in Japan...and I just confirmed I'd buy it...so within a week we will receive by air this new engine in Shanghai and will mount it in the GE8!!!

I'll take a lot of picture during the mounting and keep you guys posted!!!

- Tank + Fuel Pump is on the way...
- Motec SDL3 +GPS Receiver is on the way...
- B16B is on the way...
- J's Racing Carbon rear wing is on the way...
- Car's at the workshop for a new paint untill next Tuesday...
- Carbon Hood is received...

I need to find good headers now 4to1 for B16B engine, should not be complicated many parts are available for this engine as oppose to L15A. This project start to be very enjoyable. My goal is to do 1.10 (the car can do 1.17 now) at our local Shanghai track, we will see how it goes when the engine will be mounted...

Also later this year I plan to put a Sequential gearbox, the same they are using in Touring Car Championship, but this is a big financial commitment, at least 15 000 USD without the work to mount it. The other GE8 prepared by Art Of Speed Racing for CTCC has this nice gearbox mounted, i'll take picture next time, it's very nice to hear the car on the track with this gearbox.

The car was first developed by Italian team engineer, Pascal F., former Mitsubishi Chief Engineer in WRC in 1999 and 2000 (he claimed title both year), and still will be developed by him.

He is in China since beginning of the 2000's and started by advising CTCC team like Hyundai, VW and Haima (chinese brand). Now he owns a team (Art of Speed Racing), which developed 2 Honda Fit for CTCC last year, and will participate this year with a Chevrolet Cruze 1.6 Turbo.

Art of Speed Racing is also involved in its own 'cup' formula, using the same car (a chinese made Geely Panda) and with 20 drivers (including me), very nice way to put 20 drivers on the same level as we all use the same car!

It looks like that : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OO2QhNaejqI

So now they offer full set of racing lower contorl arms fully adjustable, BOLT-ON sequesntial gearbox even with STANDARD ECU?? Is that possible? I would like very much to have one sequential gearbox for my road Fit! I hear also that is not even so much money!

P.S. I hear that they also offer for ALL TYPE of use fully redone rear bridge with lightweight duraluminum inserts and uni-balls?

Hi Guys, car was painted yesterday, I had time to stop by the workshop and take a couple of pictures :

The B16B is still on the way, should arrive soon, and I just ordered a nice combo from TODA Racing in Japan to tune up a bit this big baby, including a Toda Exhaust Manifold, a pair of High Perf Camshaft, Up rated Valve Springs and free adjusting Cam Pulley.

The biggest part of the work is yet to come now....
