My ex-CTCC (touring Car) Fit
What is a DD? Dealer...D....
I'll change the hood and put a Carbon hood, and on the side there will be some stripes, black and light gray. And of course some stickers, I have a sponsor (american one!) and my own company. And last will be the rear Carbon Wing.
I still wonder if I paint the top in Black...

You should make it look like an old Kanjo Civic
Veeeery nice paint job! High quolity, you can see it from the distance, right fellas?
As for sequential gearbox, maybe your tuner have one already? I hear that there is BOLT-ON sequential gearbox!!!!
Not kidding! So now EVERYONE can have SEQUENTIAL GEARBOX on their cars! Easy to drive, never get broken and safe a lot of fuel considering that they are MUCH lighter then STD GB. Only 27 KG!!! Also there is one nice Titanium or Dur aluminum LSD, by the choice of customer. I know that those LSD is 1 way, 1.5 and 2 way FULLY ADJUSTABLE!! Sexy, eh?
Cheers!

Car is back from the paint workshop, the bigger part of the job is yet to come, we did not received yet the new engine, I only received the Toda manifold and crankshaft. Tomorrow we will put the rear J's Carbon Wing, and a set of Toyo R1R just to play on the track. For more performance I will put full slick or real semi-slick, Federal RS-R 595 or if I can find in China those Toyo R888
To be continued....

To be continued....

Yes now that you say so, I guess the carbon hood plays a lot
To be honest when i was looking for a design I felt in love with the side bottom stripes of the Mazda 2 B-Spec as on this picture :

Hi Guys!
I'm back with some news. So finally the B16B arrived in Shanghai last month and the guys worked hard on it to put it in the Fit. We had some problems with the driveshafts that we had to custom made, and the clutch was broken so we ordered a greedy one. But after that the gearbox had some problems so we put another gearbox that I borrowed from a B18C engine just for the race that was last week. After that we only had one week to tune up the engine but the Dyno was not available so we did the race without really tuning the engine... Also the camshaft, the valve springs and adjustable pulley from Toda is not yet fitted.
I only managed at little 1.17.1 on my local track, and the ultimate goal is to go below 1.12 so we still have a lot of work from now. Next race is 11th of November.
See the video of the race, I managed to get the podium on the 3rd position, was a really fun race, but I did a big mistake when my tires were too cold and that costs me 2nd position...
Enjoy!

Hi Guys,
Some updates, the car received some upgrades for 2012 season, I run a M factory Final drive 4.98 and M Factory LSD.
I still need to install a carbon dashboard and custom made sway bars and I guess the car will be ready.
I improved my lap time by 3 seconds this year and I run Semi Slick Federal tires FZ-201 which I recommend, they are very good tires.
Cheers

Car seems much better sorted in this most recent video than the first video with b16b. I'm very interested as to how difficult the engine swap was, I read that you had some issues with the driveshafts... What about motor mounts? Was mostly everything custom made?
Looks like a very fun car now, were you still running the electric power steering with the L15 before the b16b swap? If so, do you still have the power steering? Curious about how that works with the swap and how the steering rack would be without power.

Regarding driveshafts and engine mounts it was fully custom made by the garage that build that car. driveshafts were the one came up with the B16B, they were shorten up to fit my car. They did good job.
Regarding the power steering, that in fact was a problem for a while. I tried this car first with the L15A and using a power steering, I was very happy the car behave very good, and was very easy to drive. Then we fit the B16B and I learnt it was impossible to keep the power steering, unless if we change the full wiring (that would be a lot of work and money). It was fine without it at the beginning, but when we decided to go for M factory LSD due to the traction problems, the car came up impossible to drive. First time I tried the car with the racing LSD, it's such a short track with big turn that after 4 laps pushing I had no more energy. Basically when you turn left, the LSD fight with you to turn right when you push throttle again, and the steering wheel become ultimately very very heavy. Every turn is a fight against the steering wheel...
Then we decided to adjust the camber better, then the car came up easier to drive but still, this LSD is fighting with me on every sharp turn
I can tell you that after this 15 laps race I had no more energy at all... Solution is to do more fitness
I just ordered bigger racing sway bars, custom made in Japan. Should improve the handling better
