Since you mentioned Yakima-you are referring to a roof top carrier, not the Honda cargo basket that goes in the rear, right?

if you look at the bottom of your webpage, at least for me there is a "similar threads" listing. have you read through those?

What will you carry? Don't know if this would help but I went on a camping trip this past summer and utilized my Jeep's rear hitch carrier on my roof rack. I took the receiver tube off and attached the basket to my bars with aluminum straps. It held a cargo bag full of sleeping bags, cast iron pans and fold up chairs. Traveled 600 miles round trip @ 70 mph with no issues. The main reason I did this was it was already in my garage and I did not want to spend over $100 for a basket I will rarely use.

i've been keeping an eye out for a basket as well. the thule one is called the MOAB i think. (stands for Mother Of All Baskets). The only pic I've seen of a fit with any sort of storage on top is on the thule website.

There was at least one person if you search through roof rack threads who had one (I think it was a Yakima) and was complaining that it walked and caused some damage, but that's the only one I ever recall seeing.

I kinda want one, though at the moment I'm not sure if I'd get much use out of it. I've been keeping an eye on craigslist figuring if I see one come up on the cheap I'll grab it.

I think this one would look the best on the Fit. It has nice lines to it and has a more OEM look than many black tube baskets.

It is a Hyundai Basket but if I remember correctly it is one of Thule's Products that they only sell as OEM to car manufacturers. It has many of the same lines & styling cues that our Ridgeline Roof rack itself has.

It's $100 from Dealerfit.com and it says it is for a 2003-2006 elantra or Santa Fe.
