back with a vengeance!

So I'm not a noob to the Fit or this forum, but I AM new to the 2011 Fit!!

I received a super random call Friday night from my old car dealership, from where I purchased my '07 Milano Red Fit. Poor baby only had 12 miles when I got it and as of Friday had 93,555. It still ran like new.

Back to the phone call. The salesperson said they were contacting old customers with an offer of a brand new '11 Fit, with .9% financing. I qualified because my dad had cosigned and I had a high APR (6.4 eek!). Now, I thought for sure there was going to be some horrible catch, or some really hard upsell. There was none of that. They wrote a check to my bank for the old one, and I drove away an hour later in an '11 Orange Revolution Metallic.

So now, I have my own loan with barely any financing and a BRAND NEW FIT, with no penalty for the old one. It's been a fun weekend with my new ride

-Di

Nice!! Copngrats to you! I stuck w/ auto.

The .9 is amazing, I'll actually be able to pay off the car before 5 years is up and it won't be $4000 in interest. Woohoo!

I think the "barely any financing" and "gotta love almost free money" type comments for the .9% financing are a bit off. Isn't it .9% APR financing? So .9% above prime rate?

very nice OP, a really great way to build good credit.

Honda financing has been billing me $0 per cycle... I do write a $500/month for the fit, regardless

No, it is .9% above 0%. I purchased an '11 Fit Sport four weeks ago. It's a real good deal if you qualify and need to finance.

I never missed a payment in 4 years with my other Fit, hopefully I can keep that going, provided my job sticks around.

My friend bought her '11 Fit (celestial blue) about 3 days before I got mine, it was her 1st new car and she qualified for the .9% too, I was so happy for her!!

Well kid, you are off to a great start.. Just make wise decisions about how you use your credit and you will be way ahead of most people, in fact it sounds like you already are.
