just got the FIT, wheel lock size M12/1.5 ??

Hi:
I just drove my new 2011 FIT sport home today.
Every friend who drives the honda told me that I should put the wheel lock on ASAP.

I did research on the forum last nite. someone said the size is 12/1.5
I had a set left over from my lexus RX300, it printed 12/1.5 right on the lugs.
but while I try to put it on, it didn't seem like fit on the car.. I was not able to turn it in by my fingers. and it looks like has smaller hole than the OEM lug that I took off from the FIT,

then I drove to autozone, but the salesperson told me that their computer is not able to tell the size of wheel lock can fit. then I drove the FIT home.

anyone can tell me the size of wheel lock I should buy? at least I can tell the guy in autozone that's the size i'm looking for..

Thank you

Here's the honda part number. You should be able to easily find locks as most of the hondas use the same diameter stud so the accord, CRV, CR-Z, Civic, etc... all would use compatible lug nuts.

Part No: 08W42-SCV-101

I'm not thinking to get OEM wheel lock.
you can just buy the key from the dealer without any problem.
I can just holding all the keys and search the one on the road can fit on, then acting like fixing flat tires. maybe some ppl even come to help

I think the size is M12/1.5,,, but just don't understand why my old wheel lock didn't fit on it.

The Honda wheel locks don't all use the same key.

I think everybody knows stock wheel locks don't use the same key

but, no one will refuse you to spent the money to buy all the keys from dealer..
those guys are not just steal one set rim, that's their job for living..

in queens NY, five honda got rims stolen within 10 blocks one night.

My point was that i'm pretty sure there are enough variations of the key that you can't just go to the dealer and buy them all. But I guess I could be wrong.
