I am driving a fit'09 and to my dismay hit a car today. It happened to be Fit 2008. I was trying to turn right, and when I saw the road free I went ahead and move forward, but since I looked to the left I didn't see the gray fit in front of me. So I hit the car.

Assessing the damage, the bumper has a small crack. I assume she will want the bumper replaced. Do you know how much is the average cost for silver fit 2008's rear bumper?

 

I replaced mine a year and half ago. It cost me around $500 with part and body shop painting. I removed the old bumper and install the new one myself. Add another one hundred bucks if you have them install for you.

 

Thanks vwli. I called dealers and thats about the price they charge. I just want to know in case the lady the car I hit wants more than what she deserve - protecting my ass so to speak. Will see what it's like.

 

There's a place here in Houston that sells body parts for many vehicles - it's right off I-45 in the Parker/Tidwell area called AutoFit (how appropriate?).
