I like to put Synthetic into my car, any ideas what is a good brand ans what kind to use and how much? Thanks

 

Honda MTF. ~7-8$ / qt at the dealer, or $60 for a 12qt back at bernardi parts.

 

I've never had good experiences with anything other than Honda MTF in a Honda trans. I've tried Motul, RP, Mobil 1, and others, and never seen any gains in efficiency or wear resistance, even when racing- stick to the OEM- they know how to build 'em Mark W.

 

ditto with the others above... stick to honda trans fluid.

stupid simple to change on your own too.

 

Any DIY guidelines? Where the fill and drain plug. What size wrench? How to remove plastic pan underneath?
