Given the kind of miles I drive... I'm likely going to reach the 1-year mark and still not have the MM down to 15%.

At that point, I'll just get the oil changed regardless.

I'm 3 months into ownership at 1600 miles with the MM at 80%.

 

That's exactly what Honda recommends - 12months or 15%, do reset MM to 100%, however.
